TGJ went 1/13 this week. He has not had a hit since Monday. This is just painful to see.

In case you have not heard the radio show, I call him Tony Jones, so that I am able to stay objective. Like most fans, when I think of him as Tony Gwynn JR, I have a hard time being critical of him.

He's a solid defender, but we need him to start hitting the ball out of the infield. I'll keep my fingers crossed this week for him.

im not too wooried about him not hitting tho he should start hitting those holes in the next couple of games, atleast i hope so.

I was starting to think that he wasn't getting enough of a chance with the benching but now I'm not sure. Slumps happen and sometimes you just have to play your way out.

I have mixed feeling about today's(4/21 vs. SF) game. He looked great when he drew a walk until Willingham walked everyone. Heck I coulda drew that walk. Then he grounded out weakly the same way he has all year. Then a great bunt fot hit followed by a popout.

He left two men on base today but also made an amazing catch in center that no one currently on the roster could make. The Giants announcers said that he was tby far the fastest home to first they'd clocked in two years. So I am on the fence with this one.

tony did look alright today but he just needs to get that ball out of the infield!! kinda driving me nuts but i have faith in the gwynn.
