After seeing the day game on 4/15 I'm convinced the Padres need to bring back the brown. At least in an "official alternate" capacity a la the Chargers with the Powder Blue jerseys. I believe that you could take the navy, sand and sea color scheme and trade it straight out with brown, orange and yellow with either the modern white or navy home unis. Maybe a brown hat with yellow triangle using the current interlocking SD in brown trimmed out with yellow would be pretty cool.

The Padres have changed their unis so many times over the years that I can't even decide what I think is the best color scheme anymore. The throwbacks from the 70's and 80's are popular now but lots of people hated them then, including Steve Garvey. But I do love the Throwback Thursdays concept. That was great fun. And I really loved the lack of blaring music and loud effects. The old style organ music was also very cool. It doesn't seem to matter which uni the team wears, the current one never seems popular at the time.

i like throwback thursdays, i dont know about multiple days with the throwbacks tho. if we started wearing that gear all the time it would get old quick.
