Toronto Blue Jays will be active sellers this month with Marcum, Downs, Frasor, Gonzalez and Bautista
I would be very interested in him. He is having a HUGE year power wise and could also spell Chase at third. Big time power in the outfield and has a reasonable contract. He has never really had one very good year so he could probably be had without giving up a "kings ransom" or even close to it. The Jays speculated by many once again will be active sellers at the deadline and he could be very appealing to the Padres. You would DEF have to give up some worth because if his power surge and production but I don't believe it would cost much more than a Dejesus at all or even a Corey Hart.

The Jays do not have to move him though, very affordable contract. Jose Bautista, who is tied for the major-league lead with 21 homers, will remain relatively affordable next season in his final year of arbitration. His salary is $2.4 million.
