Could Trevor Time return to Petco 1 Year, 10 Months ago Karma: 8
The Padres need to strengthen the bullpen and Trevor could be had on the cheap. With the injury issues that Mike Adams has had in past seasons and Luke slipping could the Padres bring in Trevor to help out the Padres pen?

Short and sweet, I would say NO. We have younger guys doing it better than Hoffy can.

I would much rather see us sign him to a 10 day contract at the beginning of next year so he can retire a Padres.

I also don't think Luke is necessarily "Slipping" so to speak. It was brought up on a 1090 broadcast (Sun@Col), and I noticed it when I was at the games against the Nats that Gregerson's slider was up between 3-5 mph. On a slider like Luke's that has alot of curve/sink to it, more speed will flatten it out. Looks like a minor adjustment to me. If I see it, I am sure Balsley does! Luke will be fine.
