My vote goes to Edward Mujica or Matt Stairs in that order. Stairs if it has to be a hitter though he would have to be DFA'd. Maybe Denorfia for a spell until Sep. callups.

I say Cabrera. He needs to get his hitting in order. Send him down where he can get 4 AB a game

Cabrera is gone when Eck comes back, i believe bud has already said so.
Adams will come back and replace who they feel needs to go in the bullpen, which sadly i believe is going to be Freri, because hes the young one out.
Honestly we could keep Mujica as a "well this game is out of reach for either team pitcher" cause why should we burn greggerson adams or anyone else in that situation

I say Stairs I dont understand why he is on the active roster, does not make sense

Great question! I would like to see them move down ECab if Eck can go at full strength. If they are going to nurse him, then I think you see Deno go back down.

I am so disappointed with Stairs... it's almost like the Jim Edmonds move... an aging star who you would have loved to have in his prime but not this version of him .

Cabrera seems lost and would benefit greatly from working out his issues while playing everyday... but the clock is ticking befor Sept call-ups so if they are going to get him down they need to be doing it

Denorfia is slumping outside the inside the park HR fluke the other night so I'd like to see him go down and cunningham come back no matter what other moves they make.

I am not in favor of Mujica going anywhere and if memory serves me he has to clear waivers...

For awhile I was in favor of releasing Gwynn but we see what an assest he is in CF... But that has got to be Jed's top priority in the off season if you ask me. I know some think it is going to be Hunter or Durango, but I'd really prefer a proven everyday CF for the next couple of years.... I know that won't set well with the Durango fans but that's what I'd do...

Stairs. Guy is just frustrating. Bud's use of him makes no sense also. I understand you are trying to get the guy reps and at bats, but putting him in there to leadoff the top of the 9th on Friday vs the D-backs is just not a good decision. I have more confidence in Everth to get on than Stairs and I have almost none in Everth. Stairs is never going to get that PH clutch HR, its time to go for him.

Also, bring Cunningham up for Denorfia. Denorfia is an average to below average outfielder who had one on fire streak at the plate and since has come totally back down to earth. Cunningham played exceptionally well in the outfield with his glove and batted over .310. I dont know how you could send him down and not bring him up yet considering how poor our offense has been of late

I say Stairs or Cabrera in that order. I agree with some other posts in that Stairs is worthless to the team.

DFA Stairs and send ECab to Portland. IMO, he should have been sent down as soon as we got Tejada. Him sitting on the bench for a lot of innings does nothing to help his hitting.

Cabrera should go down until rosters expand.
