For those that missed the Friarhood Radio season finale this weekend on XTRA Sports 1360. The hour was packed with guests including San Diego Padres President/COO Tom Garfinkel, the woman that wrote the book on “One on One” interviews, Jane Mitchell and John Conniff of Mad Friars.
This Saturday will mark the end of a very exciting journey. I have been proud to be the host of Friarhood Radio on XTRA Sports 1360 during the course of this Padres season. This Saturday will be the final live Friarhood Radio show of the season. You will still be able to find podcasts throughout the last month of the season and during the off season, but this will be the last live show of the year.
Saturday's show will be action packed with Padres President/COO Tom Garfinkel leading off, follow by Channel 4's Jane Mitchell, and I will end on a high note, with my friend and a guy that arguably knows the Padres farm system as well as anyone out there, John Conniff.
I'd like to give you this opportunity to send over any questions that you would like me to ask to Tom Garfinkel and/or Jane Mitchell. Please post your questions below and I will do my best to work them in during the interviews.
For those of you watching the Padres game last night you may have seen a Padres fan steal a ball away from Justin Upton. It was a great catch by the fan, so great it ended up on ESPN's sportscenter. Thanks to our Friarhood family, I was able to get in touch with the guy that made the catch. Brad is a loyal Padres fan and San Diego resident. He gives us his first hand account of the play in this interview.
The Padres had a rough trip to Arizona this weekend, but Brad gave the fans at home a reason to cheer. I was able to catch up with Brad and avid softball player after his fourth game on Sunday. He took some time out of his busy day to talk baseball and let me know how he become the most hated man at Chase Field Saturday night.
