Friars Fail to Capitalize on San Francisco’s Follies, Lose Series.

The Padres and the Giants played three exciting games, with each team getting 6-5 wins, but the Padres lack of timely hitting cost them in the error-riddled rubber game on Thursday afternoon. The Padres went an awful 2-19 with runners in scoring position, leaving 12 on base. They loaded the bases without scoring three different innings.

They will fly out to Wisconsin to begin a three game series against the Brew Crew as part of a 10 game road trip that end in Oakland.

Below is a game by game recap of their series against the Giants at Petco Park.
