Good:

Nick Hundley – 2-4 two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI.  Hundley has nine hits in his last 15 ABs.

Yonder Alonso – 1-4 HR (2), run score, 2 RBI.  Alonso has a four game hitting streak and has seven hits in his last 17 ABs.

Will Venable – 2-3 2RBI, Venable took over center field tonight to give Maybin a mental break and came up large hitting in the 8-hole.

Dale Thayer – 1 2/3 IP, 0H, 0ER, 0 BB, 4K

Padres fans – I can only imagine how crazy the last 24 hours was for Carlos Quentin, but his hometown fans making plenty of noise for him when he came to the plate hate to brighten his day.

Bad:

Jedd Gyorko – His error in the 8th allowed the Rockies to come back and tie the game.

Ugly:

Huston Street – 1IP, 2H, 2ER, 1BB, 0K, 2 HRA.  Street was fortunate that Petco pulled a home run to start the inning back into play.  In a non-save situation Street wasn’t able to hold the tie for the team in the 9th.
