Pads Down with Downs?
According to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports 1, the San Diego Padres are interested in southpaw Scott Downs, along with other free agent left-handed relievers.

Dbacks, Halos Discussing Trumbo Trade?
Jon Heyman of CBS Sports tweeted that the Anaheim Angels have talked to the Arizona Diamonbacks about their pitching. Heyman wasn’t sure if Mark Trumbo was mentioned in discussions, but the Dbacks have been connected to him recently, and I think it’s fair to say that the Halos are desperate for pitching depth, which Arizona has.
