Dodgers, Diamondbcks Seeking Relief
As expected, Milwaukee Brewers relievers have recently gathered lots of interest from teams seeking relief help this summer. Danny Knobler of CBS Sports reported that the Los Angeles Dodgers sent a scout to Milwaukee this week as they are among the teams that are interested.
Also interested, according to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports, are the Arizona Diamondbacks. He says the team has scouted the Brewers relievers in recent days and weeks, and that they have had discussions about right-handed relievers John Axford, Jim Henderson, and Francisco Rodriguez.

– The Padres promote reliever Miles Mikolas according to MLB.com’s Corey Brock. In a corresponding move, reliever Tyson Ross was sent down to AAA Tucson.
– The Giants signed veteran outfielder Jeff Francoeur to a minor league deal as reported by Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports
– The Giants designated outfielder Cole Gillespie for assignment according to Henry Shulman of the San Francisco Chronicle. The move makes room for the promotion of second basemen Kensuke Tanaka.
