OF Corey Adamson had a 4/4 game with 2 R, 2 3B and an RBI to raise his average to .289. 2B Matt Antonelli made his rehab debut going 0/1 with a run and BB.
CF Donovan Tate scored 4 runs, with a double and RBI and 6 SO. SS BJ Guinn added to his good numbers with a .385 avg and added 2 runs scored, a double but 3 SO. The number of players changing teams this week were significant: LHP Josh Spence to Eugene 2B Matt Antonelli to AZL for rehab. RP Jackson Quezada to Fort Wayne RHP Mark Hardy to Eugene IF Jorge Minyeti to Eugene RP Josh Cephas to Eugene RHP Rafael Arias assigned to AZL Padres for rehab (FW) IF Chris Bisson to AZL Padres from Eugene RHP Pedro Martinez to AZL from Eugene The Padres, 12-18 so far this season, have 25 more games to play and still 17 games to the signing deadline. Look forward to more roster changes with more signings and promotions/demotions to determine the Fall League assignments.

The Padres rookie league team only played 5 games during the week. There was a scheduled off day and a rain postponed game during the week. The AZL Padres went 1-4 and were shut out for one of the games.
