The Missions’ one hundredth win of the season brings them a Texas league championship. Lake Elsinore rallies late for the second night in a row to take a 2-0 series lead. San Antonio Missions 10, Arkansas Travelers 6
Notes: The Missions put up 7 runs in the 6th inning to run away with the Texas league championship in their 100th win of the season. Blake Tekotte did not play after suffering a rib injury during a collision at the plate on the previous night. Cody Decker hit .310 with 3 homers and 6 RBI during the playoffs after sitting out most of the last 3 months of the season.
Lake Elsinore Storm 3, Stockton Ports 2 (10 innings)
Notes: The Storm were down 2-0 heading into the bottom of the 6th but made a late comeback for the second night in a row. The team will make the long bus ride from Lake Elsinore to Stockton and play a game Saturday night needing only one win in the next 3 games. Reymond Fuentes delivered the walk off sacrifice fly to bring home Jonathan Galvez, his second RBI of the game.
