Radhames Liz-SP: 7.2 IP, 1 hit, 2 BB, 8 K’s, Win

Adam Russel-RP: 1.0 IP, Save (6)

Notes: Aaron Cunningham has not hit safely in his first 12 at bats since rejoining the Beavers on Sunday. Liz turned in his best start of in the last two months, if not the season.

San Antonio Missions 5, Frisco Rough Riders 0

Blake Tekkotte-CF: 2-5, Run scored, Stolen base

Logan Forsythe-2B: 1-5, 3 K’s

James Darnell-DH: 2-4, 2b, RBI, Stolen base

Simon Castro-SP: 5.0 IP, 5 hits, 1 ER, HR allowed, 3 K’s

Evan Scribner-RP: 1.0 IP, 1 hit, 1 ER, 1 K, Save (6)

Notes: After a few mediocre starts Castro seems to have found his rhythm in this start. He turned in a 75% groundball ratio for the game and did not walk a man for the first time in three starts.

Lake Elsinore Storm

Fort Wayne Tin Caps 4, Great Lakes Loons 1

Danny Payne-CF: 2-5, 2 runs scored, Stolen base

Jedd Gyorko-DH: 2-4, RBI

Notes: Danny Payne stole his 28th bag of the season, the most by a Tincap so far this season. Out of 32 total attempts Payne has been caught only 4 times. Payne also leads the team in triples (5) and ranks second in walks (50).

\

Eugene Emeralds 8, Spokane Indians 7

Jablonski “Rico” Noel-CF: 1-5, RBI, Run scored, Caught stealing

Rymer Liriano-DH: 2-3, RBI, Run scored, Stolen base

Emanuel Quiles-C: 2-4, 2 2b, 3 RBI, Run scored

Dexter Carter-SP: 5.0 IP, 6 hits, 5 ER, 2 BB, 2 K’s, 2 HR allowed

Mauricio Tabachnik-RP: 2.0 IP, 1 hit, 2 K’s, Win

Notes: After his last start, which was pretty good, I wrote that one could hope that it meant Dexter Carter was returning to his pre-trade form. Apparently he has not, If you toss out his last start, Carter has posted an ERA over 9 in a game 5 times in his last 10 appearances.
