Sharing is Caring
Here is your Padres Daily Farm Round Up for August 25, 2010

Luebke moves to 5-0, McBryde’s gem wasted by Storm

Portland Beavers 2, Tacoma Rainiers 0

Everth Cabrera-SS: 1-3, 2 BB, Run scored, Stolen base

Wily Mo Pena-DH: 2-4, 2b, HR (6), 2 RBI

Aaron Cunningham-RF: 0-4, 4 K’s

Jody Gerut-CF: 1-4

Cory Luebke-SP: 8.0 IP, 5 hits, 4 K’s

Notes: Cory Luebke is ready for the show… Need I say more?

San Antonio Missions 4, Frisco Rough Riders 3

Logan Forsythe-2B: 0-5, 2 K’s

James Darnell-3B: 1-5, Run scored

Andrew Parrino-RF: 1-4, RBI, Run scored, Outfield Assist

Luis Martinez-C: 2-5, Run scored

Lance Zawadzki-SS: 2-4, BB, RBI

Tyler Lumsden-SP: 7.2 IP, 8 hits, 3 runs allowed, 2 ER, 5 K’s, HR allowed

Evan Scribner-RP: 1.1 IP, 2 K’s

Notes: After a pretty consistent season Logan Forsythe has gone stone cold. He has 5 hits in his last 39 AB’s and is batting .211 in August.

Lake Elsinore Storm 1, Lancaster Jethawks 3

Oscar Salazar-1B: 0-4

Brad Chalk-LF: 0-2, BB, Stolen base

Dan Robertson-CF: 0-3, 2 BB

Jesus Lopez-SS: 0-2, 2 BB, Run scored

Jeremy McBryde-SP: 8.0 IP, 4 hits, 1 ER, 4 K’s, HR allowed

Notes: If you’re wondering why I didn’t include the Storm players who had hits in the game…. It’s because there weren’t any. The Storm played an 11 inning game and their 6 baserunners all came via base on balls.

Fort Wayne Tin Caps 4, Lansing Lugnuts 8

Jedd Gyorko-3B: 1-4, BB, 2b, RBI, Run scored

Jason Hagerty-1B: 0-5, 5 K’s

Dan Meeley-RF: 2-3, BB, 2b, RBI

Everett Williams-LF: 2-4, 3b, 2 RBI

Jose DePaula-SP: 5.0 IP, 6 hits, 2 ER, 5 BB, 3 K’s

Allen Marona-RP: 2.0 IP, 1 hit, 2 K’s

Notes: Josh Spence got touched up for his first runs as a Tincap. He gave up five hits and two homers for 3 ER in just 1.0 IP, but walked none and struck out the side.

Eugene Emeralds 4, Everett Aquasox 7

Wesley Cunningham-1B: 2-3, BB, 3b, RBI, Run scored

Jablonski “Rico” Noel-CF: 0-3, BB, 2 runs scored, Stolen base (10), Outfield assist

Chris Tremblay-2B: 1-4

Corey Adamson-LF: 1-3, BB, RBI, Run scored

Mauricio Tabacknik-SP: 6.0 IP, 4 hits, 5 runs allowed, 4 ER, 1 BB, 4 K’s, HR allowed

Notes: Wesley Cunningham continues to go absolutely ape on NWL pitchers. In the absence of Jedd Gyorko, Cunningham is easily Eugene’s best hitter. On the season he is batting .294/.418/.471 and has 12 hits in his last 8 games.

AZL Padres 1, AZL Royals 2

Daniel Garce-3B: 1-3, RBI

Chris Bisson-DH: 0-1, 2 BB

Joe Agreste-1B: 0-1, 2 BB

Mykal Stokes-CF: 1-3, Outfield Assist

Gunnar Terhune-CF: 1-4, Run scored

Stalyn Valdez-SP: 5.0 IP, 5 hits, 2 ER, 4 K’s

Notes: Jose Dore, like Donavan Tate, has been conspicuously absent from the lineup lately. Like Tate, no injury has officially been reported. We will look into this further and get back to you.
