They played 38 total innings in the 3 game set. The Missions and Rough Riders have now played 7 games this season that have gone to extra innings.

After beginning the season in Portland on the Padre’s 40-man roster, he injured his pitching arm and has been on rehab assignment for quite a while now. Fort Wayne has the worst fielding percentage in the league.

In the 7 games since then Branham is 4-0 with 33 K’s, 10 walks, and 9 ER.

He and Brian Guinn, who were both drafted this year, give the Padres a very fast tandem at the top of the order.
