Here is your Storm playoff round-up, the last of the year

Brach’s rare blown save ends Storm’s playoff run

Game 4

Lake Elsinore Storm 5, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes 6

Chris Tremblay-3B: 3-5, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored

Cole Figueroa-2B: 1-3, 2 RBI

Vince Belnome-DH: 1-4, 2b, RBI

Cody Decker-1B: 1-4

Jesus Lopez-SS: 2-4, 2b, 2 runs scored

Rico Noel-CF: 1-3, BB, Run scored

Matt Lollis-SP: 5.1 IP, 6 hits, 2 runs allowed, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K’s

Brad Brach-RP: 1.0 IP, 4 hits, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K’s

Notes: The California League’s single season save record holder, Brad Brach, could not convert his 42nd of the year to send the series to a decisive game 5. Round-Up favorites Chris Tremblay, Matt Lollis, and Rico Noel, who were all  on the short season Eugene Emeralds roster at one point or another, played well in the Storm’s final effort. A big thanks to those of you who have followed the round-up, see you next year.
