The TinCaps took 2 of 3 from Bowling Green to open the season. Although the 'Caps are young this season their starting pitching is looking like seasoned pros! The 'Caps got quality starts in all three games from Nick Greenwood, Jerry Sullivan, and Mission Viejo native Michael Watt. The three starters combined for 20 strikeouts in the series. Offensively 1b Nathan Frieman hit .500 in the series including a HR and 3 RBI. SS Jonathan Galvez hit .400 with 3 RBI. The 'Caps travel to West Michigan for their first road trip of the season Sunday through Tuesday.
