The finale of the series vs. the Lansing Lugnuts was definitely a bizarre one. Jonathan Hussey pitched far better than his line would indicate (5 IP, 4 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3K) and the 'Caps overcame 5 errors to win in a thriller. The game included the Lugnuts gaining an early 4-0 lead thanks to two TinCap errors. However, the offense roared back with 13 hits including 4 doubles by the middle of the TinCaps order. Edinson Rincon lead the way with a pair of two run doubles.
OF Everett Williams continued his climb back to respectability with a 3-5 night including one of the TinCaps run-scoring doubles.
The 'Caps took 2 of 3 in the series to even their record at 15-15 as they head to Dayton for a 3 game tilt with the Dragons. TinCaps ace, Nick Greenwood gets the start in game 1 on Monday.
