The best of 5 series against Rancho Cucamonga began with a dominating performance by rehabbing Padre Chris Young and shutout relief by Anthony Bass to give them a 5-0 victory. Rancho Cucamonga also contributed with 7 errors committed during the game.

Games 2-4 did not go as well for the Storm. Rancho Cucamonga won all three with the last game lost in the 9^th inning by Storm closer Brad Brach in an atypical performance.

The Storm bats were inconsistent, at best, with 1B Cody Decker enduring a 2 for 17 stretch with 6 strikeouts and 0 RBI. With their best hitter in a slump, the most production came from SS Lopez going 5/14 with 2 2B and 3 runs scored. There was 1 HR hit in the series, by Allan Dykstra, and 3 players tied with 3 RBI (Figueroa, Belnome, Dykstra).

The Storm pitching performances were highlighted by Young and Bass in the first game. Other pitchers performing well included game 3 starter J. McBryde with 6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 7 SO with a 3.00 ERA. Unfortunately LE only scored 1 run in this game.

Game 4 starter Matt Lollis went 5.1 innings with 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB and 7 SO for a 1.69 ERA. This is the game that was lost with the blown save by Brach in the 9^th. After 3 consecutive SO to end the 8^th inning and begin the 9^th, Brach gives up single, single, single, walk, double to allow 3 runs and receive the loss.

Reliever Rob Musgrave pitched a total of 3 innings in relief with 0 hits and 3 SO for a 0.00 ERA.

This ends the 2010 season for the Storm. They named Cole Figueroa as their season MVP with Brad Brach as the Pitcher of the Year.
