Sharing is Caring

The San Diego Padres have announced numerous transactions affecting the Triple-A Tucson roster:

INF Alex Cintron has been added to the Tucson Padres roster. Cintron has spent parts of nine seasons in the Major Leagues, starting in 2001 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 32-year-old has also played for the Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. In 680 games, Cintron has posted a .275 batting average with 33 home runs, 222 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.

INF Everth Cabrera has been placed on the 7-day DL with a fractured right hamate bone. Cabrera sustained the injury on a swing during Sunday's win over Colorado Springs. In 22 games, Cabrera hit .283 with Tucson, stealing a team-leading 10 bases.

INF Patrick McKenna has been transferred from Tucson to Double-A San Antonio, after hitting .176 in nine Triple-A games.

INF Anthony Contreras gives the Tucson Padres more infield depth. Contreras has been transferred from Double-A San Antonio, and is no stranger to Triple-A baseball, having hit .273 with four home runs for Triple-A Portland last year.
OF Mykal Stokes has been transferred from the Tucson Padres to Extended Spring Training. The 20-year-old went 1-for-5 in three Triple-A games.

C Jhonaldo Pozo has been transferred to Tucson from Extended Spring Training.
