Padres Acquire LHP Chris Rearick from the Tampa Bay Rays

According to Corey Brock via twitter, the Padres have acquired LHP Chris Rearick for utility INF Vince Belnome. Belnome a former teammate of Jedd Gyorko at West Virginia was known for his plate discipline, but with the logjam of infielders right now in the Padres system, he was unlikely to get a shot anytime soon.
