Padres’ Bats Power A Pair Of Comeback Wins.

The Padres split a series with the Astros that relied heavily on the long ball for both teams. San Diego won the first game in extra innings after Jesus Guzman hit a go-ahead homer in the eighth only to Houston tie the game in the bottom half of the inning with a homer of their own.

After losing second game where Kip Wells surrendered two big-flies in a 5-3 loss, Clayton Richard gave up a solo shot for the only run scored by either team in Houston
