Padres Dismiss D-Backs, Earning Series Superiority 

The San Diego Padres took two of three games from Arizona to win just their third series of the season. The series saw a dramatic walk-off walk to win game one followed by a both increasingly frequent and frustrating shutout loss. The final game brought the Padres first three-run homer of the year and plenty of fantastic defensive play in the outfield.

The series also had the first Major league starts for catcher Kyle Phillips and second baseman Logan Forsythe,  both still seeking their first hit as the Padres head to Milwaukee to start a three-game series at Miller Park Monday night.
