Padres Cut Ties with Hitting Coach Randy Ready

The Padres have decided to part ways with hitting coach Randy Ready.  Randy flew through the ranks as a minor league manager in the Padres system.  Starting at Fort Wayne in 2004 and made stops in San Antonio (2007) and Portland (2008-09), Ready was named “Best Manager Prospect” by Baseball America in the PCL in 2008.  Ready was a hot shot manager coming up through the ranks and in 2009 when the team decided to cut ties with hitting coach Jim Lefebvre, Ready was named the new hitting coach.
