WILD, WEST SHOWDOWN: The Padres begin a 10-game road trip with the first of three against the Rockies tonight…following the three-game set, the club will head to St. Louis for four (9/16-19) and Los Angeles for three (9/21-23)…San Diego is in the midst of a stretch in which they play 16 straight games, 19 of 23 and 22 of their final 33 on the season against NL West opponents…so far this year San Diego is 32-31 (.508) against divisional foes…the Padres are 10-8 vs. the Diamondbacks, 4-11 vs. the Rockies, 8-7 vs. the Dodgers and 10-5 vs. the Giants.
