Good, Bad, and Ugly 4/12 vs. DBacks

The Good:
- 4 1/3IP, 3H, 1ER, 5K 2BB, 50 of his 88 pitches were thrown for strikes. Anthony got a chance in the rotation and shined, plus his mom was interviewed during the Fox Sports San Diego broadcast. How awesome is that?!
- 1-4 including a triple and a run scored.
- 1 2/3 IP, 1H, 0ER, 2K, 1BB.
The Road!
- In 2011 the Padres averaged 3.14 runs at home and 4.17 runs on the road. If you were wondering, the Padres allowed 3.54 runs at home and only 4.00 runs per game on the road. Road Sweet Road!
The Bad:
- 1-2 double, BB, K and an error.
The Ugly:
- Hudson has a track record of hot starts, but 2012 is not following that pattern. After an 0-4 night, Hudson is now hitting .130 on the season
- 0-4 2K, after going hitless again today, Hundley is now 0-19 on the season.
Strikeouts
- 13 Ks on Thursday night put the Padres #1! The Friars lead all of baseball in strikeouts this season.
Note: The Rockies, Cubs, and Pirates have only hit three homeruns on the season, one less than the Padres.
