Padres Hit Heavy In High Altitude For Series Win

The Padres hot hitting from Milwaukee carried over to their series in Colorado, averaging eight runs a game in the mile high city. Even though they put up seven runs in the first game, they still lost by five. They did however come back with two straight wins, including scoring eight unanswered runs to win on Saturday and blowing the game open on Sunday with a five run seventh inning.

The next stop on this road trip is hitter friendly Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Padres will play three games there before heading back to San Diego.

Below is a game by game recap of how the Padres handled the Rockies this weekend in Denver.
