Pitches are ranked from 2 (Poor) to 8 (Outstanding) In terms of the "Overall ranking" It is on a 1 to 5 scale 5 - Franchise Player 4 - Frontline Player 3 - Above-average Player 2 - Average Player 1 - Bench Player
As an example Cliff ranked an 8 in command, but only his FB movement ranked higher than a 5+ Ubaldo Jimenez ranked with a 7+ fastball. Finding anyone with an 8 is quite rare.
