Today via Twitter the Union Tribune was able to give us a look at what may happen with the Padres rotations.
"Because the Padres open the season with three off days the first week, manager Bud Black said he might open with a 4-man rotation"
"Black said Dustin Moseley will make the club, either as fifth starter or in bullpen. Black likes Moseley's 80 games of big league experience"
I don't think any of us felt Mosley wouldn't make the team after he signed a contract for 800K. The quote from Black seems to give the impression Stauffer will be the fourth starter and Moseley's role is still up in the air.
The big questions of who will throw opening day in St. Louis and San Diego are still up in the air. Any guesses?
In a minor league move MLBTR reported that the Padres signed relief pitcher Jon Leicester today.
