The Padres are getting new uniforms today. We'll have to wait and see how that goes. In other news Ryan Madson is close to signing a big contract with the Phillies. What could that mean for Heath Bell? Here are some Padres links:

Casey Kelly looks to move up to the next level - Padres Official

"He's hoping it's enough to move him up a level in 2012 after two seasons in Double-A. But he also understands the game enough to realize he was aggressively pushed there by the Red Sox and that he's still ahead of the curve if he had to return to San Antonio next year."

Gaslamp Ball speculates on the new uniforms

"We've seen all the same rumors at this point and it's probably good to round up where we're at with some ODDS! PLACE YOUR BETS, BITCHES!"

Tom Krasovic gives his take on the new uniforms too

"Here's the thing. The Padres should wear brown and the Chargers should wear powder blue. If our teams can't get the easy part right, how do they expect to win a World Series or a Super Bowl?"

Garfinkel says no radical changes for Padres uniforms - NCT

"Padres president Tom Garfinkel said he has gathered over the past two years fans aren't interested in another radical change. Reverting to brown and gold would equate to radical."

Gaslamp Ball reminds us that we are supposed to hate The Cubs

"You see, long before the Padres agreed to swap their current General Manager and their Assistant General Manager in a overly friendly business deal, the Padres and their fans HATED the Cubs."
