Padres shut out today but still take the series St. Louis

The Good:

Dustin Moseley

• In his Padres debut, Moseley quieted the critics by throwing seven solid innings, allowing one earned run on four hits.  Moseley also collected his first major league hit during his second at bat.

The Bad:

Luke Gregerson

• In one inning of work Luke gave up one run on three hits that allowed the Cardinals to extend their lead to two runs.

The Ugly:

Padres Offense

• Not including the hit from Moseley, the Padres tallied three hits vs. Garcia.  The Padres struggled the last two seasons to hit left handed pitching and if today is any indication, the 2011 team may as well.
