WP: Chad Qualls (4-3) LP: Dan Wheeler (0-1) SV: Heath Bell (19) With Mat Latos, and the Padres Bullpen, the Padres claw, scrap, and fight the proverbial Goliath in Fenway Park and earn their first interleague win of the 2011 campaign. In addition, Padres snap a six game losing skid and look to potentially take a series win Wednesday in Boston in the rubber-match.
The Good
Nick Hundley (2-3, 1B, 2B, R, K): Nick is showing signs of his pre-DL days by putting solid contact on the ball and getting on base. Mat Latos (5.2IP 10H 4R 4ER 4BB 7K): At first it might appear as if he had a bad day with that line, but one has to consider that he went up against probably half of the American League all-star lineup today. He sent seven Red Sox straight back to the dugout and he was able to bounce back after giving up runs. Mat never let an inning break out of hand.

WP: Matt Albers (2-3) LP: Cory Luebke (1-2) The Padres were unceremoniously greeted in Fenway Park as the Red Sox pelted the Friars 14-5 on a 10 run 7th inning in which former Padre, Adrian Gonzalez contributed to the onslaught.
The Good Chase Headley: 4-5, 3 1B, 2B, 2R. Solid plate appearances by Chase, waited for the pitch he wanted and put it in play and contributed a couple of runs.
