Padres Offensive Goes Missing After Game One Outburst. 

After their highest run outburst of the 2012 season, the Padres offense went in the tank, scoring only one run in the final three games. The loss was the Padres sixth in their first seven on this 10-game road trip. They will head to Chicago to face the floundering Cubs for a three-game series at Wrigley Field.

After giving up a run early on a wet ball thrown into the outfield by Nick Hundley before a short rain delay, the Padres came out swinging, scoring 11 runs in the final seven innings en route to an 11-5 win.

The Padres scored four runs on four doubles and a single, concluding with Jesus Guzman
