San Diego Stays On Fire In Hotlanta, Takes Second Straight Series 

The Padres beat the Braves in the first two of three, winning their second straight series and finishing their road trip 4-2. Their four-game win streak was the longest of the season and also featured four straight saves by closer Heath Bell. The Padres will take their latest taste of winning back home to Petco Park when they begin an 11-game home stand on Thursday, with the first four against Houston. Below is a recap of the last three games of their great road trip.

Kyle Philips hit his first career homer to lead off the top of the 10th inning and Heath Bell pitched a perfect ninth to give the Padres a come from behind victory on Memorial Day.
